Here’s a card I made for Kristina Werner’s Finally Friday Video Challenge. I changed the orientation of the paper and design elements. The lay out is basically the same still, slightly busy with the bow.  i should have written ‘happy easter’ in pencil first, then gone back over it with pen, just to get the arching right. oh well, i didn’t end up giving it to anyone anyways, its in the garage hanging out with a bunch of other junk piled up on my desk. i wish it was finally friday.

Getting back to a work out routine is a stretch to say the least. For not having worked out very much, ever, I want to do it right this time. I want to be active, to stay in shape and to be healthy. I’m highly motivated and highly encouraged by my best friend in the whole world. Take one look at him and you’ll know I’m bound to be fit. Work out regimen: have fun. So far, we’ve played tennis two times and it’s been so much fun. i enjoy constructive criticism, sweating, running to collect the balls and squeaky shoes. I still have a few areas of improvement… serving, forehand, backhand, control, my mouth and tennis. Everyone has room for improvement and no one is perfect. Positivity is the key to a well played game, that and water on your head.  Next exercise PMA or some weights. We’ll see which is easier, probly weights.

thank you to my wonderful son, here’s my new favorite show. on qubo! It really is the cutest cartoon i think i’ve ever seen. The theme song is so inspiring and the simplistic animation is ever so charming.

Funny how the mouse’s name is Mouse and the rabbit’s is Rabbit, but everyone else has a pretty unique name. Thunder, Edweena, Jasper and Hazel. Not to mention those gibble goose girls, Jade, Amber Coral and Pearl. Now, if only they would sing in harmony.

It’s no wonder it originated in Canada.

So here’s the newest Scribble This Challenge and boy are you gonna laugh at this one!

Its all about getting rid of the blur… which always helps when you can’t get it right in the first place with the camera. Especially when you wear glasses and try and compensate for what you think is blurry and really isn’t, which is why you wear glasses…

and that’s the funny part… I can’t find my glasses. Hopefully this is clearer than when I started because I just don’t know if it looks right or not. I’m really crossing my fingers while I upload this pic! But i did use the macro focus on my camera when i shot it.

Anyways, I made this card for my husband for our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been that long, but it has been a packed year for sure!

I asked him what his favorite colors are and he said blue, black and gray. which i thought was hilarious because he designed our bedroom and the walls are gray, the furniture is black and the bed spread and accents are blue… who would have thought!

So this is my first submission to the CIC, but I’ve folowed Kristinas challenges since # 45 but have always been too chicken to submit any of my cards for lack of confidence. I did try and sneek in a card for the big five-o, but never wanted anyone to see it. I’m always so self concious when it come to sharing my creations but I used one of Kristina’s layouts from her April:  A Year in Cards Class over at Two Peas in a Bucket, which gives me a little boost. Anyways, here’s the card…

New Life

This new life belongs to one of my mentor’s, she is having her baby shower on Sunday and I was truly inspired by the cute carseat and color combo in this challenge. TFL!

So I just found this amazing challenge from Lisa Spangler via Kristina Werner’s blog.  It follows a great tutorial and what great tips she’s given out! I tried it on a recent thank you card I made for my sister’s friend for babysitting my son. I love the results and I am definitly using this tip on my projects! Thank you Lisa!
